My good friend Cat was having her first baby. I wanted to give her a quilt. All I had was a sewing machine, scissors and thread. I got a Jelly Roll of Neptune by Tula Pink on etsy.com. I used the withe of a book for the measurements. I used this youtube video to learn how to do the binding.
I made sure to take out all the girly pink fabric and voilà! A quilt fit for a baby boy!
